Following a fortnight of exciting online nominations, voting has closed and its time to unveil the shortlist for the Ovation Huggability Awards 2011. Ovation’s most huggable candidate of 2011 will be honoured with their 'huggability' award on the Ovation Global Stand 415 at IMEX America, Las Vegas next Tuesday the 11th of October at 2.00pm. In no particular order, here is the shortlist of this year's oh so huggable nominees .....

 | Jukka-Paco Halonen (Viada Oy Ltd, Finland) A great person and an even better musician, Jukka is always there for his friends. He is well renowned for sharing his knowledge and experience which he has picked up during his well-spent years in the DMC industry. |
 | Richard Elliott (Ignite Magazine, Canada) Richard is being recognised for his education-focused contribution to the Site Canada BOD. A key part of the Canadian MICE scene, this true Canadian is quietly effective, honourable, hard-working and always looking for ways to communicate the value of our industry. |
