Managing Director and Co-founder of Ovation Global DMC, Padraic Gilligan has been announced as Personality of the Year by Meetings:review for 2008.

2010 will see the official launch of the "Freddies Awards" in which Meetings:review will recognise the best of the best in the worldwide meetings industry as voted by its members, but in advance of the official launch of "The Freddies", special recognition was given to Padraic for his outstanding work as a leading Global DMC Director and also for his efforts in leading SITE (Society of Incentive Travel Executives) as president for 2008.

Chief Executive of Meetings:review, James Latham commended Padraic on his contribution to the Meetings Industry for 2008 "Padraic has truly connected between the supply and end user community in his capacity as SITE President 2008".
