Patrick Delaney, Managing Director
Following his degree in Hospitality Management Patrick worked for the Irish Tourist Board for many years in Ireland and the US. He returned to Ireland in the early 90s to run the highly successful Adare Festival and worked as Sales and Marketing Director for 5 star Adare Manor for 3 years. In 1993 he started Delaney Marketing with Padraic Gilligan and developed a two man operation into a 50 person business in less than 10 years. An icon in the incentive and meetings industry, Delaney was the first non US international president of Site (Society of Incentive and Travel Executives). He is also the only Irish person to be recognised by Conference & Incentive Travel (UK) for inclusion in their Power 50 list; a directory of the most inspirational people in the UK and Ireland. Padraic Gilligan, Managing Director
Padraic started Delaney Marketing with Patrick Delaney in 1993. Before that he was a teacher at secondary and university level and is one of many “italofiles” on the Ovation team. Passionate about Italy, music and Arsenal Football Club, Padraic has been know to play guitar and sing all night (if let!). He is married to Rita and they have 6 teenage/adult children. He lies awake at night mentally writing and re-writing the 5 different speeches he’ll have to make as “father of the bride”. Karine Buggy, Director of Global Operations
Karine is French but having lived in Ireland for over 15 years she mixes French cosmopolitan with Irish joie de vivre. A mother of three, Karine works in a high energy and heavily demanding global environment – this alone makes her the perfect Operations Director as she knows a thing or two about systems, processes and prioritisation.
